Because innovation, energy and of course wine are part of our daily chores, we firmly believe in investing what is important to us. Each of our four directors and team members brings a wealth of knowledge to the table creating a formidable exporting force.

Rudolph Geldenhuys is managing director of a well-known company specialising in crop solutions in the agriculture industry, Terason, and director at Savuri. He’s a wine lover by heart and a self proclaimed garagiste who makes his wine in the quaint little town of Somerset West. He’s also a man who loves everything Africa and adventure and travel is his guilty pleasures in life.

Gideon Hefer lives in the beautiful Stellenbosch and is a chartered accountant and brain behind many a thing. He is known for his infatuation for all thing vino. His main responsibility at Savuri is to head our finances, but with his enthusiasm about life is kind of catching on to every one of us.

Another director, Johan Hanekom, is marketing director at Terason, keen golfer and wine drinker with a very dry sense of humour. He also lives in Stellenbosch and has years of experience and a treasure chest full of knowledge on the agriculture industry in the country, as well as our great wines.

Liezl Gossmann-Williams brings ten years of extensive wine knowledge with her to Savuri, as well as a love for life and a secret obsession with wine. She has finished various wine courses and is currently busy with her Wine Management course at the Business School of Stellenbosch University. Liezl is known for her sparkling personality and if it means true happiness, she will gladly give her last bottle of wine to a complaining client.
